Founded in 1977, the Eye Foundation of America began as a single eye camp—and grew into a global movement addressing childhood blindness through:
- Pediatric eye surgeries
- Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) programs
- Eye banking and corneal transplantation
- Training of doctors, nurses, and technicians
- Community screening and prevention
Goutami Eye Institute – India
Established by Dr. Raju in Andhra Pradesh, the Goutami Eye Institute is today a center of excellence for pediatric ophthalmology and ROP, protecting premature infants from lifelong blindness and setting national benchmarks in neonatal eye care.
